Once at the top, we circled the entire area looking down on Seattle. We saw cruise ships in the distance, Miner's Landing and the Ferris wheel, as well as the Chihuly glass and garden down below. Once we circled the top area, we went inside to check out the terrifying revolving glass floor.

Buy Tickets in Advance: Purchase tickets online ahead of time to avoid long lines and ensure availability, especially during peak tourist seasons. Choose the Right Time: Visit early in the morning (we arrived by 9am) or later in the evening to avoid crowds. Sunset visits offer stunning views of the city and the mountains. Check the Weather: Seattle's weather can be unpredictable. Check the forecast and try to visit on a clear day for the best views.
Getting There
Public Transportation: The Space Needle is easily accessible via public transport. Use the Seattle Center Monorail, which runs from downtown Seattle, or take buses that stop nearby. Parking: If you're driving, there are several parking garages and lots around the Seattle Center. Be prepared for parking fees, which can be high. We paid $45 for valet parking and we were there visiting the Space Needle as well as the Chihuly Glass and Garden around 2 hours.
At the Space Needle
Allow Plenty of Time: Plan to spend at least 1-2 hours at the Space Needle to enjoy the views, take photos, and explore the exhibits. Visit the Loupe Lounge: The Space Needle has a rotating glass floor called The Loupe. Enjoy a drink or snack while taking in the 360-degree views. Check Out the Virtual Reality Experience: The Space Needle offers a virtual reality bungee jump experience that's thrilling and unique.

Chihuly Garden and Glass: Located right next to the Space Needle, this exhibit showcases the stunning glasswork of artist Dale Chihuly. Overall, the Space Needle was an awesome yet scary experience, especially if you're afraid of heights like me. Note, it is a pricey experience as our tickets cost $215 for three guests and valet parking was $45. We felt it was worth it for this tourist experience as we weren't sure when we'd be back in Seattle again.
