My experience within the district has been a little chaotic.It all started Freshman year, I was new to the district and attended Hightower, Sophom*ore year I had to go to a brand new school in the district Almeta” Crawford”. I didn’t like the school my sophom*ore year, the administrators were very childish, the students were as well. I’ve seen a lot of situations not be handled properly or professional .It somewhat made me not want to be at school a lot. One thing I like about Fbisd is the James Reese center, it is a trade school for highschool students and I am in cosmetology. It’s a lot of hands on and makes me feel valued while being there.

The Fort Bend Independent School District provides great education throughout many of the schools. I attend Stephen F. Austin High School and I so far have had a great experience there. From teachers, clubs/organizations, friends, and overall academics. FBISD’s strongest points is having a good education system for all students tin the district. There are few elementary schools and very few high schools that struggle with general security with students, but overall a great district.

I've joined FBISD in 2015 in 3rd grade and graduated from a FBISD high school in 2024. I would say that FBISD is fairly organized in its administration and frequently gives students a student-holiday ( which is good). The best part of FBISD is the amount of diversity it has. I've never felt left out or uncomfortable with the people i went to school with because there is always a group of people I find myself fitting into. The worst parts is probably the school staff. Teachers are being underpaid, and overworked, thus causing a lack of passion in the classroom. History and science class provides us with fill in the blank worksheets to be filled out with a powerpoint, math is being taught by teachers who are not so well rounded in the subject, and English classes feel very surface level, and uninteresting. I am a firm beliver of creating a a better future by paying teachers higher wages to make education have a purpose
