WallySparks Join Date: Nov 2020 Posts: 401 | I have a question about some of the 8 inch Marvel Select figures. Would some of them be compatible to mix and mingle with the Marvel Legends figures? Marvel Select figures like Juggernaut and Colossus would they fit in fine with the Marvel Legends figures? |

It depends on the character in question and how much of a scale-nazi you want to be. Select is a 7" scale line so any "normal" characters will be too big to fit in (Captain America, Iron Man, Spidey, etc.) but big characters can usually work pretty well. I pretty regularly see other collectors that use the Select Juggernaut, Hulk, Thanos, or Abomination with their Legends. If you're one of those collectors who recites the heights from the old handbooks like the word of god then the Select Colossus is too tall but if you like the figure and want a Colossus that is a bit more towering with the other X-Men then I'd say he works alright. __________________ |

Yeah, artists' interpretations vary but he tends to grow. It's always been claimed in handbooks that he grows damn near a foot when he goes metal but looking at any art that reflects this is sketchy, plus I don't give the stats in those handbooks much weight. Looking around on Google images I found images of Select Colossus with Hasbro Legends and I thought he looked fine with them, he's only around half-his-head taller than the Legends Colossus from the two-pack with Juggernaut so I'd say go for it. __________________ |

Plus "a couple" MCU figures being sculpted right now (heavily hinted to be Wolverine and Deadpool in a later answer). They were also asked about a redo of Wolverine, Cyclops and Doom - nothing in the pipe at the moment. Another person asked about them making classic Iron Man, Thor and Scarlet Witch - Chuck said no, not at the moment, and that he's personally more of a fan of doing the more modern costumes. __________________ Last edited by Shinigami; 04-30-2024 at 01:44 AM.. |

And they've been making classic Iron Man characters already. So you'd think a classic comic mk 4 would be coming at some point. |
