Wendy’s is back again with a brand new frosty flavor guaranteed to cool things down this summer season!

The Frosty is Wendy’s signature dessert. It’s been around ever since the fast food chain first opened back in 1969 and was actually part of the first five items introduced on their menu. It was created by Wendy’s founder himself, Dave Thomas, who based it on milkshakes he drank when he was young. It actually makes sense since a Frosty is basically a cross between a milkshake and a soft-serve ice cream. Since then, it has been a massive fan-favorite with everyone waiting on new flavors whenever they’re announced. Just last month, Wendy’s introduced the Orange Dreamsicle Frosty. This time, they’re coming out with a brand new flavor that’s guaranteed to be berry delicious.

After months of rumors, Wendy’s is finally launching the new Triple Berry Frosty this Monday for a limited time. This new frosty flavor blends the distinct tastes of three kinds of berries: blackberry, raspberry, and strawberry. This new option is in line with their series of Frosty innovations over the past year and promises to bring a fresh twist compared to their previous Strawberry Frosty.

Starting on Monday, June 10, 2024, the new Triple Berry Frosty will be available on all Wendy’s locations nationwide.

Unique Frosty Flavors

Apart from their iconic burgers, Wendy’s has always been famous for their unique Frosty flavors. Although they don’t do it often, they’ll often come up with an exciting new flavor to keep people interested. In fact, this Spring alone, Wendy’s already came out with a brand new flavor in the Orange Dreamsicle Frosty. It mixes sweet orange flavors with the creaminess of Wendy’s Vanilla Frosty. It tastes like a popsicle but in Frosty form. With this in mind, you might be wondering, what other Frosty flavors has Wendy’s come up with?

When it comes to unique flavors that Wendy’s has come up with, two come into mind that broke the internet: the Peppermint Frosty in 2022 and the Pumpkin Spice Frosty in 2023. The Peppermint Frosty has that trademark mint flavor and gives you that icy, minty sweetness you expect from peppermints. The Pumpkin Spice Frosty, on the other hand, will give you more of a pumpkin pie a la mode kind of taste instead of actual pumpkin spice.

All these new flavors have been very well-received by the community. Here’s hoping that seasonal Frosty flavors become a regular thing with Wendy’s.

What’s New at Wendy’s

Apart from the new Frosty flavors, Wendy’s also has a bunch of other new items on their menu this summer. The biggest releases has to be their new Saucy Nuggets and the Sausage Breakfast Burrito.

Saucy Nuggets
This has to be the star of Wendy’s summer menu lineup. Wendy’s Chicken Nuggets are already pretty good on their own. But they just went ahead and made them even better. The new Saucy Nuggets are an excellent twist that introduces a bunch of new flavors on their Chicken Nuggets. It has four distinct flavors: Honey BBQ, Buffalo, Ghost Pepper, and Garlic Parmesan.

Sausage Breakfast Burrito
Wendy’s is also upping their breakfast game by adding this new menu item. The Sausage Breakfast Burrito is packed with all the breakfast ingredients you love from Wendy’s. It’s filled with two fresh cracked eggs and six strips of oven baked, applewood smoked bacon, seasoned breakfast potatoes, two slices of American cheese, cheese sauce and are wrapped in a tortilla.

I can’t say no to Wendy’s Frostys! They’re probably in my top 5 list of best fast food desserts right behind classics like the McFlurry and the Blizzard. This new flavor is shaping up to be like summer in a cup. The new Triple Berry Frosty sounds like it will be the perfect for the season and just might take the crown for being the best new summer dessert.
